Bystanders to Lifesavers

More than 70% of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur at home, placing the power to save a life directly in the hands of everyday people. Since survival drops by about 10% with every minute that passes, quick bystander intervention is vital while waiting for first responders.

Your Hands Have the Power to Save Lives

In a cardiac emergency, quick action can double or triple a person’s chance of survival. You don’t need medical training to save a life—just basic CPR knowledge and the willingness to step up.
